Info about the recipe:

Easter chick crochet pattern - The pretty Easter chicks are a bit of a mix and match pattern.
There is the option to give the chickens two different eyes, an Easter egg can be added and there are also instructions for three cute little tufts of hair.

So your chickens can be made completely unique.

In general, for my recipes, the needle size can be changed to suit your own crochet strength.
With needles other than those specified, there may be size variation compared to my figures, but it doesn't matter much as long as you are consistent in your choices.

Materials:

• Crochet hook 3.0, or according to your own crochet tension
• Cotton yarn 8/4, 170 m per 50 grams
  Yellow = 13 grams per chicken
  White = 2 grams per set of eyes
  Black = 1 gram per set of eyes
  Light orange = 1 gram per beak
  Pink = 2 grams per egg

• Safety eyes x 2, 10 mm
• Stuffing = 9 grams per chicken
• Granules in nylon stocking = 20 grams per chicken - alternatively a cardboard disc at the bottom and extra filling
• Needle
• Scissors

Abbreviations:

M = Mask
Mr = Magic ring
Sc = Single crochet
Ch = Chain stitch
Km = Chain stitch
Bml = Back loop of stitch
Fml = Front mesh link
Extraction = Extraction
Dec = invisible decrease (into the sl st of the next two sts, pull through and pull the string through the two loops)
*-* x ? = Repeat x number of times
Round = Round
(number) = The number of stitches that should be in the round
Rk = Row
